Using the iPhone as a tape recorder

Is there a way to use the iPhone as a tape recorder? I know it has a memo function; is this what I would have to use, or is there something different? I would ideally like to be able to record someone (like an interview), then transfer it to my computer and burn it to a CD.

U can get apps which does those thing from the app store. A lot of them there.
