Using multiple Bluetooth devices

I have paired my uconnect handsfree unit in my truck to my iphone and also have a headset for privacy if there are passengers with me. I can't figure out how to select one device over the other without deleting one of them (Forget This Device). Help

I was searching for the same problem mentioned in this post. I hoping that the lack of responses doesn't mean there is no other solution. So I guess I'm bumping this thread. Any ideas?
