i have a iphone 4

i have read a fair few topics on how to do this but its all complicated :(

i did come across this
which i watched a tutorial and it looked dead simple

JailbreakMe

does anyone no if this will be updated to work on the latest software or not ??

i no that if you wanted to get rid after install you just restore the phone but would you loose all the apps you have bought before the phone was jailbroken

any help will be great

thanks

Go here to the TiPb website, Farbod21 has a great FAQ on jailbreaking.

lol i dont know how much more simple it could get, i dont think that jailbreakme is going to get updated just due to the fact that for the firmware 4.1 we have limerain and greenpois0n and for 4.2.1 we already have redsn0w, so i think you are stuck using one of those, but its not too hard, just follow the step by step instructions that the program gives you

If you have iOS 4.2.x, you should wait for the untethered jailbreak, you will have a lot less problems. When it comes out, I will wait for a few days, to see how it's going for others before I try it.
