Unable to Download ipsw version 4.0.2 on iphone 4

I somehow resetted the settings ( plz dont ask me why ) now tring to download firmware ipsw version 4.0.2 on iphone but cannot. After itunes tries to extract the software it gives a msg saying the iphone " iphone " could not be restored. This device isnt eligable for the requested build; Now at the moment my phone is completely blank and nothing appears the orignal firmware of the phone is 01.59.00 and version is 4.0.2. Plzz help as extremly messed up. Thxxx

The build isn't signed anymore you will need to upgrade to 4.2.1.

If i upgrade to 4.2.1 then in dat case can i still get my phone unlocked and jail broken.....???????????????

there is no unlock for 4.2.1 so you would lose it and jb is tethered for 4.2.1 atm so not worth doing
