Txting???...

Im a frequent txter and Ive noticed that my txt responses have changed from green to blue....does anyone know why that could be? Also just before I noticed this change a few of my friends who have iPhones said that every time they get a txt from me it comes up as my email address instead of my name...could that be tied to the former problem? Could I have changed the type of messages I'm sending and not realized it? Please help!

Texting another iPhone is going thru iMessage, which is blue. Green is texting thru the carrier. You will notice in box it will say iMessage in the blue ones and text message in the green ones.
