Twitter or facebook from lockscreen.

I was thinking how nice it would be to have a little twitter icon on the lock screen. when you press it, it would open a text box and would let type a status. Is there already something like this?

Yes, but you need to jailbreak your iPhone first. And if yes you've already jailbreak, look for lockscreen Facebook or twitter in cydia.

i believe theres something like QT tweeter or something like that that allows you do that i cant remember i had it way back in 2009.
