Transfer music from iphone to new mac

I'm sure this topic has been addressed before but I'm unable to find it. I have multiple ipods and two macs. My iphone was originally snynched with my G5 and I have since bought a MacBook Pro. I plugged the iphone into the MacBook Pro and was able to synch the calender, contacts, and import the purchased music. My question is how to get the other 700 (non-purchased, disc uploaded) songs from the iphone into my MacBook Pros' itunes library. Thanks for the help.

according to my experience, it applies to all types of iPod, including iPod classic, iPod nano, iPod shuffle, iPod touch, iPod touch 4, iPhone, iPhone 3G/3GS, iPhone 4, iPad and iPad 2.
