Transfer files pic to iPhone

Evening everyone I have iPhone 5 "I'm new to iPhone" cannot transfer files from pic to iPhone iTunes does not automatically install ...... how now?

I'm going to need a little more details on what you're trying do before I can provide diagnosis to an "iPhone rookie".

Things like are you a PC/Mac; What desktop OS?

As a bit of rookie knowledge, iTunes does not handle image/picture management on iOS devices so that's the first sign of trouble for you. More information would help though.
