the profile jailbreak could not be installed

Hi, I bought my iphone 4s 9A406 in the states and have moved back to France. I've tried using redsnow and absinthe to jailbreak but I always get this error message "the profile jailbreak could not be installed". PLEASE HELP!
I also don't have internet service on my phone if that is of consequence.

RedSn0w and Absinthe can only be used on iOS 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 to jailbreak the 4S. iOS 6.0-6.1.2 requires Evasi0n. iOS 6.1.3 is not supported by any jailbreaks.
