downgraded iphone 4s but now...

hi peeps ive recently downgraded from 5.1.1 to 5.0.1 9A406 and the problem is i cant jailbreak with redsn0w or absinthe, 1st i tried absinthe and thought nice 1 the it stopped and said it couldnt do it so i did what it said and tried again and same messages came up so thought stuff that and tried redsn0w and that failed to install profile even when my phone was connected to itunes, if anyone has any ideas how to resolve this problem i would be greatful thanks

Do a fresh restore to 5.1.1 and then perform the downgrade process again. This time, make sure you use Redsn0w to jailbreak immediately after downgrading(before restoring from backup or anything like that). A person I talked to earlier was having issues jailbreaking after downgrading because they restored from backup before jailbreaking.
