[FONT="]Team17 has this week announced that Worms 3 will soon be wriggling its way onto your iOS device, as part of celebrations for the fourth anniversary of the first Worms iOS game appearing in the App Store. According to Team17, this third instalment will have gorgeous new graphics, worm classes, strategic playing cards and all new weapons. The new game has been designed specifically for mobile platforms, and includes such features as asynchronous multiplayer warfare, where you dont have to commit to a full session at a time; 27 single-player missions across four themes - Beach, Spooky, Farmyard and Sewer; multiplayer Forts or Deathmatch modes and the Bodycount single-player game; local Pass N Play multiplayer for up to four players; New weapons, including Noras Virus, Black Hole Grenade, Canned Heat, and the return of faves such as the Old Lady, Homing Pigeon and Boggy B; and in-game rewards.
