HI GUY'S
PLEASE HELP ME
I have an iPhone 3G (DON'T LAUGH...) which has been jailbroken.
When I went to restore using iTunes to remove the jailbreak, i got error 1015 and then my iPhone was BRICKED :-(
i have tried all the standard stuff to reboot it however nothing seems to work.
i have tried to enter DFU mode but it will not change. i have at least 10 programs on my mac but none of them make a difference. PLEASE HELP ME. I was wondering whether there was a way to format the actual phone (wiping the I(S).
Facts:
<:> IOS is 4.X.X
<:> 8GB
<:> I can access any suggestions (Mac or Windows)
Thanks for any suggestions in advance
Regards, Steve

Assuming it's really bricked, you can't unbrick the device without swapping out the hardware, which is illegal in almost every country.

The 1015 error is most likely linked with your baseband. If you flashed the iPad Baseband onto your 3G and used UltraSn0w on the 06.15.00 baseband, you can't restore the device unless you downgrade the baseband first or unless you preserve the baseband while restoring.
