When details emerged about Steve Jobs wanting to reinvent the way we experience TV, many people were extremely excited. Well, as it turns out, there’s more. In an interview - done after the release of the book - with Jobs’ official biographer Walter Isaacson, some details surfaced about how the Apple boss wanted not only to revolutionize TV but textbooks and ….photography as well.

Jobs apparently had a few plans in mind, one of which included photography company Lytro, who build a unique technology aimed at reinventing everything about capturing a photograph. Some people might claim that the iPhone 4S camera is already a unique thing by itself. It allows facial recognition and can capture HDR photos using a Sony 8-megapixel sensor. Even so, Jobs seems to have been heading in a totally different direction. The Lyno technology makes it possible to intake an entire light-meadow at one time because it does not rely on single-pane like most cameras today do. So that means that the light can travel in every direction in every point in space.

And of course, this technology would benefit the most from being incorporated into a thin and very light smart phone so that the average shopper can enjoy its benefits. The other added benefit is that you can take photos without focusing on a particular object. And with the company Lytro claiming that the instant photo taking is one in the million, Apple might go ahead and use Job’s ideas and incorporate the technology into the next generation iPhone. Maybe…

We do hope, that whatever Steve Jobs planned about visions & goals for iDevices before, Apple should stick on that and not for any ++business (money) purposes which might lead to iDevices to have an overhauled outlook in the future.

- We love your artwork Steve Jobs.
