Ok, so I am going to Chile soon and have activated the international feature so I can use the phone if I need to in emergencies (2.49$ a min for voice!)
but the real purpose would be to use the Map function....the only answer Sprint would give me is that it would cost .019 per KB of data. This doesn't help a totally non-technical person such as myself. :-(
How do I figure out how much it will cost me to use the map? Santiago is a big metro city so I'm sure there will be a lot of data on the map...but that's as far as I can figure. Can anyone give me an idea of what it will cost??
Thanks!

I highly recommend you buy a dedicated GPS before using your phone. You will be paying $19 per megabyte for data. Odds are you will easily use 50 Megabytes or more. Which means you are looking at well over $1000 with a possibility of hitting $10,000. A dedicated GPS will save you from a heart attack.
