Skyfire 2.0 is an app, releasing November 4th 2010 on the App Store, that sends Flash content information to Skyfire servers and then sends it back as HTML5. This way, you can play Flash videos on your iOS device if they do not have an HTML5 counterpart. The app is built over Mobile Safari so it should act as a normal browser in other cases, maybe even enough for you to store Mobile Safari far, far away. We'll see on Thursday with a full review, the app will be $2.99.

very nice app, im surprised it made it into the app store.. i bet this is something apple will eventually add, thats one reason why i never pay for cydia apps, you buy it then 9 times out of 10 apple officially add it... like mms app and a few others

I've used skyfire before on a windows device. I liked it a lot, I'll wait for the review but I would be happy to pay a couple quid for this.

yeah I used o use skyfire on my htc touch diamond, I'm betting it works as advertised. I might get it (kind of agree with Palio it will be in OS before long), and if I'll do I'll review here. Might be fun it will be my first review on an iOS device. I used to write a lot for windows mobile devices till I threw one out the window.
