Siri commands for Canada?

I asked about weather and Siri responded that she does not do Canada and yet I can ask about weather in Ottawa or Halifax and Siri answers it correctly?
Are there any tricks or tips to using Siri in Canada?

There is supposed to be an update in the new year for countries outside of the US as Siri is still in Beta.
