Separate Music Player offline recommendation with global keys

I need something that keeps the audiobooks that are in hundreds of 3 min clips continuously playing. preferably in the background while I take notes.

I don't want to use the ipod app because I like to shuffle and not get audiobooks.
I want the audio books to be in a different location than my music.

I fine ifile is great for this but does not work good at all when I have no internet to register it.Like in the subway and plane when i want this feature most!

I have backgrounder but don't see how it would help in this case. can you explain?
