Scam MMS message charges

I have just accessed my bill to find that I have been charged for several mms messages @ 40p per message. I didn’t recognise the number so challenged it with my provide, BT. Apparently it is a scam that is specific to iPhone users, so although BT have refunded me the money is there anything I need to do on my iPhone to prevent any more chargeable messages coming through? The number involved is : 10020250100

You can block the number so the messages never arrive.

Avoid unwanted calls on iPhone

On iPhone, avoid unwanted calls by blocking specific numbers and sending unknown and spam callers directly to voicemail.
