safari (windows) can't connect to internet

I'm using safari V5 for windows xp, the proxy is same as IE7.0, safari can't connect.but IE can connect the internet, I have reset and clear buffer, cache, but it still says: www.google.com Safari can’t connect to the server “www.google.com”
