Trying to revive my jailbroken 1st gen 8gb phone, or at least retrieve contacts and notes from it.
It went crazy one day, performing random actions like skipping back and forth between tracks when I was listening to music and typing random letters when I was trying to use my notes app. Then it stopped working completely - the screen is on but won't respond to touch so I can't open the phone. My PC doesn't recognise the phone at all, my friend's Mac does.
So is it possible to get back contacts and notes, and what can I do to try reviving it? I know it's a dinosaur but I'd love it if it worked just 6 months more!
