I need to find away to restore my tethered IOS 4.3.4 with redsno0w 0.9.8b3 back to factory settings. I have modified the host file and used tinyumbrella to no avail as when the system boots up I have to use redsn0w to force reboot. This process kills the restore and ITunes errors out with error 21. Any idea how to restore back to factory setting?

You don't need to modify the hosts file, remove any references to gs.apple.com and then open TinyUmbrella and click "Start TSS Server" then open iTunes and and shift+restore a 4.3.4 firmware.

On another note, you might as well just restore 4.3.5 since both firmwares only have a tethered jailbreak available. In that case you wouldn't even need to use TinyUmbrella, just do a regular restore in iTunes.

Good Call . I was thinking to deep into it... Thanks !

I assume you mean 4.3.5 since there is no 3.4.5, and the answer is no, the only jailbreak for 4.3.5 is a tethered one

Can anyone tell when it'a going to be unterhered version of JB for 4.3.5??
