These may be silly questions, but what is a badge app & what is the difference between a notification & a push notification?

Hello WonderPam... welcome to iPF.net! An application badge is the little # that pops up on the corner of an application and tells you when you have messages or notifications in reference to that specific app. Notifications and push notifications are pretty much the same thing. You can have your email, facebook stuff, application messages, ect. "Pushed" to your phone from the originating server w/o having to manually retrieve it. Or you can have it set when these must be manually retrieved by opening your email and refreshing or going to Facebook and checking messages & notifications. Hope this helps!
