Question on Exploits

When the Dev Team writes a payload to jailbreak an iDevice (i.e. Corona) does it execute every time on boot, or does it modify something once that allows the untethered boot of the jailbroken OS?

The exploit only occurs when you first jailbreak, then it gives you root access to the filesystem so there is no need to run the exploit again every time the device boots.

For tethered jailbreaks, the exploit runs when you first jailbreak, and also every time you perform the tethered boot process. And you are welcome Dan!
