Question about iphone 2g

Hello my friend has a iphone 2g and she's wondering if it's possible to jailbreak it and unlock it so she can use it with t mobile.

i suppose that would depend on what firmware it is on,as some are still unjailbreakable and unable to be unlock for cross network usage

any firmware on the 2g can be unlocked and jailbroken its the iphone apple forgot about and has not updated for a while

last time they updated the baseband on the 2g was a very long time ago when they realised no matter how many times they update baseband it would still be jailbroken and unlocked
