Question about contacts

Hello I had a 3GS for my previous employer and started a new job and we have the 3GS as well, the work phone is linked to my work email, but the ppl I email don't appear in the contacts. I saved a few contacts and when I select contacts they don't appear it only days group. My old work phone would add anyone I emailed into my contacts, this is a small co so no one to really help

Can you post some screenshots up? Not quite sure I understand the problem...
