I am trying to remove the photo library from my iPhone. I know you can't just delete them so I changed the photo section in iTunes to sync with nothing. Nothing is currently checked. I press sync and it says photos will be deleted. I press ok and it syncs. Afterwards I check my phone and that folder is still there. I'm not talking about the camera roll but the photo library. Any help would be great. It's taking up precious memory... Thanks.

You have to press apply after you uncheck iPhoto
If that doesn't work, try restarting/ updating iTunes
Or just restart your Mac.

I did hit apply. In iTunes it shows that nothing should be syncing in the photo tab but they're still on the phone... I don't get it.

It might be a iPhoto or even iTunes problem
