Phone went crazy when case put on

I have the 4S and I recently bought a snap on case for it on Etsy. When I snapped it on my phone, the phones screen went HUGE. The touch was unresponsive and the phone would not operate. I quickly removed the case ( not an easy task) but it was still messed up. I had to reset it and then it went back to normal. Has this ever happened to anyone else ?

Seems like the phone may have thought you tapped the screen with three fingers twice to cause it to zoom

is it a snap-on case for ip4? if so it won't fit to the ip4s, the side volume buttons being stuck cause the problem
