Phone to hot?!?!?!?!?!?

so,im at work,running my ass of waiting tables,i pull out my phone to check the time,and it has this message on the screen,your phone is to hot to use,please alow time to cool down.or something to that effect.
but it would do emergency calls.
now,i know im a fat baster...and i do get hot working hard,but really,not even a hot car,just sitting in my pocket.

any one else seen this?
should i call steve?

Wow you must be on heat...and your phone is getting so hot and turned on...LOL

Did a message really appear about the phone being too hot? Wonder what jobs was thinking when he implented thy feature.

yes,there was a yellow triangle with the warning under it


i fail to tell yall a not so simple reboot fixed all...it kept going to the warning,would not just let me shut down,after 5 or 6 trys it **** down and runs great now

So far apple is replacing all phones that have displayed this message. If I were you I would get it exchanged on the off chance it does it again.
