Phone shut down

I can anyone help, my iPhone 4 shut down today, I've tried to switch it one but nothing happens, I've tried to charge it but the same nothing happens , has anyone had similar problem. Any help !!!'!!!!!!

Have you tried holding home & power button together for 10 seconds ?

I've not come across anything that a reset cannot resolve. J.B your phone can make it lag and freeze although the benefits via cydia are boundless with the option to now add Siri onto a jb iPhone 4

I have/had this same problem. I had to hold the power on button for a long time. I finally got it to work. I am going to ATT this am, phone still under warranty
