Phone call or skype?

When I had a Samsung Ace (wash your mouth out!) if i made a call to a contact it offered to use the phone or skype to make the call. Is there a similar facility in the 3gs?

AFAIK you have to open up the Skype app itself, then open up the Contacts list on your device in the Skype app. iOS does allow Skype to access contacts, but sandboxes it so that it's not fully integrated like that of Android devices using Skype where you can open up your usual contacts/phone application, and select Skype vs conventional calling.
