How old is it. Never heard of that one before..if you do a back up/restore that might correct it

Hi, if I let the phone go flat and then put it on charge, it automatically turns itself on as soon as it has any charge.

That makes sense, thanks for confirming this. However, it also automatically powers on when I power off (when not charging). Would you say it was a hardware phone issue whereby i should send it to be fixed, or is there some software or settings that might be causing this? Many thanks for your help
