Hello,

I'm new to the forum. I just switched from a Motorola Android to a iPhone 4S. I used PdaNet exclusively for tethering on the Android while traveling and it worked very well with no problems.

Question: can someone give me some instruction/tips on installing it on the iPhone? or...is there a better solution for tethering?

are you jailbroken ? if so go to cydia and download it from there. easy set up.
however if you are jailbroken the best option according jmills87 is tether me, also a easy add on. and undetecable by your carrier.

You need to wait for the 4S jailbreak to be released. Until then you wont be able to use pdanet. I use tetherme by the way and works pretty well.
