Parallels Access was launched back in 2013 as an iPad-exclusive app, bringing Windows and Mac virtualization to iOS, along with natural navigation gestures and near-native performance. Parallels then rolled out a universal version in the summer of last year, a move that was appreciated by iPhone users.

The app has now been updated both for iPhone and iPad users, but there are certain specific features, as well. Let's have a look at all the new features and improvements:
  • Support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
  • Full-scale File Manager
  • Support for iOS 8 Document Picker to copy and view files from other apps in Parallels Access
  • Ability to play sounds from remote computer when the app is in background
  • Option to play sound on your mobile device or remote computer
  • Improvements to Lock’n’Go Magnifying Glass
  • Performance optimizations and stability improvements
New iOS users can try out Parallels Access free for two weeks, and after that they can choose a subscription plan which starts at $19.99 for one year or $34.99 for two years.
