I was pleasantly surprised, and quite happy to hear that.

The new free iLife suite also kinda puts a giant damper on Office 365, which I will likely be canceling my sub to

As of right now, he OS X Mavericks update has not yet appeared in the Mac App Store.

I too am installing as we speak, already hit one error but was thankfully able to start it back where it left off

have downloaded it and am using it on my mbp retina 15"..

nice os, lots of new features to play around with like keychain app and maps was added as well as ibooks on the desktop, not that I ever read books, but after a few minutes of logging back on there was a notification that offers to show you whats new in safari, not a browser I use but some nice changes to it...

New iPhoto and imovie apps to go with it

Not sure if its a mavericks feature but I was asked if I wanted to automatically download updates, hell yes

Sounds nice so far then, I'm getting it tomorrow when the servers should be less hammered, quite a big download.

to be honest the server load was not bad from when it has been available, I was probably late to get to the download as well

Been downloading for 1hr 20mins so far, 2.09 GB to go.....my internet connection has chosen today to keep dropping out....grrrr
