Not able to download APP using the Phone !

Can you not download any APP over 20 MB directly from the APP Store in your iPhone I have a Internet connection through my Network Carrier and when I try to download a couple of APPS it says APP over 20MB please connect to a Wi-Fi Network to download it ? So can I not download it from the Phone ?

Yes, you can. But you need your phone to be connected via wifi. 3G is not strong enough to download heavy apps.

So even though I am on a 3G Network I will not be able to download APPS more then 20MB if I am not connected on my phone with Wi-Fi ?

That is correct. Same for the iPad.
