No text alert for certain contact(a)

I've had no problem with my notifications until just the other day, but now when my daughter sends me a text my phone doesn't alert me. There is no sound at all and next to her name is a bell crossed out. Ive tried deleting & re adding her info, also have checked under settings and do not disturb and I'm accepting from everyone. My phone will ring if she calls just not if she texts.. Please Help!!!!

Hi, give this a try: Go into the contact and edit. Scoll down the list until you see "Text Tone". You should see what kin of tone you have selected and an arrow at the right end of the box. I am guessing you will see "none" for your selected tone. Press the arrow and chose from the list you see of text tones. Hope that works for you.
