No signal on my iPhone 4s with cover... :-(

I'm very tired of my bad signal on my iPhone 4s
The horror me down the spine when the signal suddenly disappears every time I have cover on ...
When I take the cover off it there's full signal
No signal on my iPhone 4s with cover, It does not matter if I switch to another sim card from another phone company or where I am.....
- I have tried with different iPhone cover's no luck!!!
it may be the antenna which is bad???
Any suggestions???

I spent 3.5 years working on phased array radar systems, so I have fairly good knowledge on radio frequencies and what it takes to shut them down. It should be nearly impossible to take a 4 or 5 bar signal to no bars with a cover. In fact you would literally have to do it on purpose for that condition to exist based on what I know.

So what kind of cover are you putting on?
