No call muting after jailbreak

Got my phone untethered using the redsn0w b3.

I am not able to mute incoming calls with the volume keys.

Any fix for this?

I did some more digging around, and I think that I found it being related to be 1.6.0 activator software. People online are saying it works on 1.5.7. Is there any way to download the 1.5.7 thru Cydia and not going thru the iOS file system?
