hi folk, just got a new 3g i phone and am learning how to use it
any help will be much appreciated as my old phone was a steam nokia. LOL.
have one initial query.

how do you stop the data pane from loading, as a pay and go i do not want to download any data, will use my laptop for that.
message seen is " you will only pay up to £1 for data today ".
i push the dismiss button but not sure whether this cancels it or charges it. balance still seems to be going down.
