Someone gave me an iPhone 4. The screen is completely screwed. The touch screen doesn't even work. If I buy a replacement screen from like amazon, would that fix my problem? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Do you know any history on the iPhone... has anyone opened it and attempted to fix it prior? Either way... I wouldn't recomment buying a replacement screen from Amazon, eBay, Joe Schmoe Internet Guy, etc. Only purchase OEM relacement parts for your iDevices... as it will save you $$ and trouble in the long run.

Noone has ever attempted to fix it. I have never opened up an iPhone before. But ill give it a try.
