Need help with this iPhone 3G

Well, i found this iPhone 3G at a pub, i took it home and tried to use it, but it wont start. It gets stuck on "Connect to iTunes". I've tried the whole thing where you hold both buttons put them into different modes like Recovery and DFU, but it dosen't work for me. Any help on how i can get this iPhone unstuck on the apple and connect to iTunes screen. (Using a Windows 8 Laptop and Windows 7 PC either) (iPhone 3G) (Black) (16GB)
