I have a 64GIG IPhone 11
I was at 62.8 of 64GIG used, but when I went into settings - general - IPhone storage and added it all up on a calculator it did not add up.
I had 20GIG of app data, 2GIG music, zero pictures and zero videos (I upload to Amazon photo's as soon as I take one and then delete off my phone)
I had 7.52 GIG system
I had 6.89 Other
I did a back up to I-Tunes
I wiped the phone back to factory. Settings - General - Reset - Erase all content and settings
I then restored from the back up.
I now only have 24GIG of 64GIG used. How is that possible?
Yes the 6.89 is now gone, but all my apps, all my data, everything is back and restored. I shed 40GIG's but only see 6.89GIG gone, what was the other data? Where was it? That is not a little bit of data, was something being stored in the background?
