My iphone 4 is screwed... i think

i woke up the other day and my phone was off but wouldnt turn on even when i charged it for a bit, randomly it turned back on but make a clicking sound, it worked for a bit but now it turns off randomly and when i restart it 9/10 times it just goes to my lock screen but i cant do anything and a few times my screen just went grey and wouldnt respond to anything, i restored it several times but it keeps happening, i have a warranty which im planning on going to best buy and let them look at it but with my luck it will be working fine as soon as i get there ! since i last restored it its been working but it did shut off twice but when it shuts on/off it makes a clicking sound :S seems like a very unique problem but maybe one of you can spread some light on it, thanks.

as you have your 12 month warranty i would run it by Apple rather than Best buy,are you near an Apple store?

its been over a year but i have a 3 year through best buy
