MMS forwarding crashes Message App - Just started doing this!

Just recently, my wife's and my iPhone 4S's and also 2 co-worker's iPhone 4S's the message app crashes out when forwarding an MMS message to another. Just started about 4 days ago. We all have 5.1 firmware and are running on at&t.

The forwarded MMS does get sent. Just once it sends, it crashes the message app.

Does this sound like an at&t network issue or is it an Apple issue?

In Settings in Messages ,,, everything is showing on.

Is it with any MMS content or is it doing it with one particular MMS that you keep trying?

Turn off iMessage and try forwarding the same MMS content. If the failure disappears, then we have isolated the actual culprit.

Well, whatever it was it is now working correctly as should be. I didn't do anything, it just started working correctly on it's own. All of ours are now working.

Might have been a tower failure then and they finally did a reset on it. Wouldn't be the first time that has happened.
