Your iPhone can now be transformed into a small gaming console with the launch of specialized gaming controllers. MOGA's $99 Ace Power controller is the first authorized Made for iPhone gaming controller to hit the market after iOS 7 has introduced support for dedicated controllers.
The MOGA Ace Power is compatible with Apple's 4-inch Lightning-connected devices: The iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, and fifth-generation iPod touch. It has a 1,800mAh battery, includes two joysticks, a D-pad, front-facing A, B, X and Y buttons, and L1, R1, L2 and R2 shoulder buttons.
Logitech's official iOS-compatible PowerShell controller was launched a day after the MOGA Ace Power at the same price of $99. The PowerShell gaming controller from Logitech comes equipped with a D-Pad on the left side and A, B, X, and Y face buttons on the right with shoulder buttons on the top of the controller. It has a smaller 1500 mAh battery than the Ace Power.
Ehtisham Rabbani, general manager of the Logitech gaming business, said the following:
We designed this controller to deliver a true console-gaming experience on an iOS 7 mobile device. With gaming so pervasive on the mobile platform our research shows that 87 percent of iPhone and iPod touch users play games on their device it's time to revolutionize the experience.
Would you be interesting in acquiring such a gadget or you think your fingers are good enough?
