Lost the "gadgets"

Hi, newbie iPhone user here. The "gadgets" button from the main screen has disappeared (the one with the compass, alarm etc.) Maybe I deleted it by mistake? how can I get it back? thanks!

Well you can't delete them... Did you check the other home pages? They must be on one of them.

I used the search and was able to bring them up, but they are not on any screen!

Do u have like 100 apps like i do and think u lost it? Thats why i use the new folder option

OK, my partner suggested I hook it up to the computer and check it out. Well I discovered I have 4 screens of apps, then an empty screen, then a screen with the missing gadgets in a folder! I guess I never scroll past that empty screen and didn't notice the dots that tell me which screen I'm on. No idea how that got there, maybe I didn't turn it off when I stuck it in my pocket and it pressed on the screen. Anyway mystery solved!
