I lost my iPhone 3. I call it and it goes to voicemail. If someone found it and
Made it theirs with their own new number, etc., would my calling my number
still go to my voicemail or would my voicemail message be wiped out?

If that's the case, then I'm screwed. If not, that means my phone is sitting somewhere in my house, car, etc.
I've scoured these places, but it would be nice to know.

Thanks.

Could be the phone is dead... that would cause it to go straight to voicemail. On the other hand... someone taking the SIM card out and throwing it aside will also cause the call to go straight to voicemail.

Question. Did you download the application called find my iPhone?

agreed it will go straight to voice mail if someone flung your sim aside and if it died from lack of juice in the battery. like mentioned it would be grand if your phone had find my phone on it

It very important to have that application. But if days and night went by. The only thing you could do is report it stolen. Then call your provider. Inform them the situation. They will disable the phone from being used by a phone carrier.

So sorry to hear that you lost your phone. Keep us updated on what happens next.
