I know there are tons of notes apps out there but I am having trouble finding one of what I want. Functionally, I love the Notes app on my iPhone. I love how simple it is to immediately be able to type my list without any setup. However unlike most Apple products, it's horribly ugly. I want an app like that but that has a list on beautiful backgrounds. Best case scenario would be pre-made backgrounds with an option to have customizable ones but I'll settle for one pretty background if I like it. The text needs to look good and be easy to read. I don't need any fancy options, just the ability to make a list of items. It's not so much a to-do list but just a way to see some text and be able to add and delete it easily.
