Locking display on 4s?

Is it possible to lock the 4s display into portrait mode?

Thanks for any help there.

Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen to bring up the control centre, then tap the lock button so it illuminates, to lock the screen in portrait mode. Tap the button again to release the lock.

How very nice of you to go to so much effort to make it soooooo easy for me to get this right. I'm a very happy chappy now and I thank you very much for your interest and help.
