lefties?

i have a real interest in how left handed people use their devices and accessories,being a leftie myself i always found it hard for instance to find a mouse with the buttons to suit a leftie so i just adapted,i now use the Magic Trackpad which suits both,do any of the lefties out there have problems? how have you adapted? if you are a left hander then you are in the minority,only about 12% of the worlds population are lefties.

I too am a leftie. Out of all of the phones I have had over the last 10 years the iPhone is by far the most leftie friendly phone I have owned. It is small and narrow enough that I have not had to make any adjustments. Also of note......In the control panel of your PC (provided it is a pc and not a mac) you can go into the options for the mouse and switch the button orientation so that it is easier to use for lefties.

OSX allows for the switching of the mouse button locations if you are using a magic mouse. In fact it is easier to remap OSX than Windows.

Yes i did that,the strange thing is though for me is although i am left handed in everthing do i text with my right hand,but yes iphone does just fit in the hand,have you had any pros and cons withother devices?

Lefty overhere too. Ive never really struggled with using devices left handed though if im honest. I can use the mouse with either hand. For me though its always a problem writing. Left hand covers what you have written so was always a struggle to write in skool with anything other than a ballpoint pen. Nothing worse than writing pages of work to then descover at the end its all one big smudge and half the ink is allover you hand lol i also cant use left handed scissors very well either.

yes i know just what you mean about the writing,have you seen those lefties who write kind of upside down?i can use left handed scissors,in fact i have to and i don't now about you but i love being a leftie,i love being in a small minority.

Yeah my friend in skool used to write life that.. Elbows allover the place taking up all the room lol have to agree with you i love being a lefty too.

thanks for your input up to now guys,I'm thinking though that with only approx 12% of the worlds population being left handed i don't think theres going to be that many on here,still you never know.

it fascinates me how they do that,i tried writing like that and couldn't do it.
